Overcast (a Haiku)

The sky is encased
in white, as puffy clouds mark
the late summer sky.

moving along the ground,
finds its way home on this sunny

Spirit

So far
the season brings
long walks for my spirit,
a healthy outlet to relieve
tension.

Lambertville

Nature
paints lovely shades
of blue, white, and green on
the natural canvas, hawks dancing
slowly.

Lingering Warm Days

The lingering summer rays
hang on to make its last

Appearance, the sun
shining bright and soothing,

Bathing the trees with warmth
as leaves begin to fall

To the ground, as nature's
internal clock begins to call

Them to rest, warmer skies
soon retreating, autumn softly

Knocking on our door.

this late summer day.

Stars

Stars.
Bright, shiny.
Twinkling, sparkling, glowing.
Each night they appear.
Rays.

Shining

Lovely,
glowing moon, too
lovely to put into
words. Its silvery shine stretches
for miles.
