Beloved and Lost

She dreams about

friends beloved

and lost;

She thinks about

the well-being

of her companion,

Living in the island

of their roots,

dwelling with

The ghosts of

her past.

She sends good thoughts

for the friend lost

due to confusion;

The cord

of friendship

snapped unexpectedly,

Nothing to do

now but strengthen

current bonds.

She dreams about

friends beloved

and lost.

She wishes the best

for them all.
