Our conversation

cuts through weak connection,

Yet the island lines 

fail to hold on this night.

So thankful for limited talks,

for the hurricane continues

To spread its deadly hand,

thinning supplies cutting off

Its citizens' livelihood.

Your voice remains resilient,

Yet we wonder how much longer

our homeland will suffer.
