As I start my way

down the winding path, its twists

and turns unnerving,

I call upon my inner

strength, breath deeply, and walk on.

What We Want

At some point,

we all venture through life

figuring out

what we want,

The path laid out for us

bending and weaving,

twisting and turning;

Our paths change

with every choice we make,

adapting to our lives.

It is never a straight line.

It was never meant to be.
