A new day glows;
cloudy, yet still
Shining brightly,
bringing promise
of treats laying within.
Life has a way
Of delivering new
surprises. I am not
Sure if I am prepared for
another jolt to the system,
Yet I think that is how
life operates,
Bringing people surprises
when least expected.
