Return

Late afternoon glow

still lingers as I

exit the train,

A sign that Gaia's light

is returning after

its long slumber,

A sign that we are

leaving behind the

darkness and drought

These winter months

bring to us;

a sign that,

Despite winter's

continuing existence,

our light will return.
