Moment of Solitude

In this moment
of solitude,

I learn to
find myself

As I navigate
my new life.

Discovering my
needs and dreams,

Learning what I
want for myself.

Forever Longing

Longing for your hand
to take mine as we enjoy
our time together,
to gaze in each others' eyes,
our lips sharing a sweet kiss.

Meant To Be

A soulmate is out there

for all of us,

Yet fate waits for

the right moment,

That special time

when two people

Meet and connect, sharing

stories and secrets.

Fate waits for that

sacred occasion

When its meant to be.

Peaceful Days

The stress is
always present,

Yet it weakens
as time goes by,

Lessening each day
as the beacon of

Hope casts its soothing
glow over me,

A reminder that
peaceful days will come.

Price of Growth

In order to grow
we lose a part of

Ourselves as we
journey through life;

We suffer loss
in order to gain

Awareness in our
surroundings, serenity

In our hearts, and
peace within our souls.

Joined

We move through this life
like fine threads, joining our souls
and stories as one.

August Sunset

Glowing orange globe
slipping gently over
the horizon,

Its citrus hues casting
a final flash of light
before it continues

Westward, the sky ready
to roll out its
blanket of stars,

Welcoming the night.
