My Life Thus Far

In those moments
of solitude

I have the chance
to think about

The events in
my life thus far.

Although the days
are filled with doubt,

I am thankful
that I chose to

Leave my old home
filled with despair,

Anger and loss
sharing the space.

I now have the
time to think on

How grateful I
am to make that

Choice to leave and
live in complete

Peace.
