Variation on 'Hope is a Thing with Feathers'

Hope is the thing with feathers,

a soft, delicate creature

flying across the land.

Hope is that precious gift

one holds dear,

keeping those feathers

safe in a pocket;

A memento held dear

in order to dream,

and laugh,

and inspire.
